The kitchen is striking and notable as soon as you walk in the door. Almost U-shaped, with shaker-style units and wood effect worktops, there is lots of space for the family chef to work their magic! For added, convenience integrated appliances include; a microwave, under-counter fridge and freezer plus a dishwasher too. There is also a cloakroom/utility cupboard with space for a free-standing washing machine. There is a large, double-width, larder cupboard with integrated storage accessories and wicker draws, adding to the cottage feel of the kitchen and the double cavity gas oven/grill and hob is paired with a stylish stainless steel splashback. In the main bedroom, the set-up is slightly different to other holiday homes. The king-size bed, with stylish upholstered headboard, runs down the sidewall of the lodge rather than the back wall. This gives the bedroom an extended feeling of width and space, even with the en-suite shower room off the main bedroom. Meanwhile, in the twin room, the set-up of the bedroom again means that the extra width makes the twin room feel incredibly large compared with other holiday homes. The two twin beds have upholstered headboards along the sidewall, a mirrored dressing area with upholstered stool and a walk-in wardrobe with hanging rails and drawers. Both bedrooms have a wall-mounted TV point but there is no bracket included. This Portland Lodge makes a stunning holiday home, with spacious rooms throughout, home-from-home appliances, high-quality furnishings and a lakeside pitch, it would be ideal for a whole family or a couple to enjoy.
